Teacher Profiles

Edward Charles

Eddie is a visiting tutor specialising in banking and finance subjects. He spent 40 years working in the City of London for various financial institutions and investment banks including Barclays, JP Morgan Chase, UBS and Commerzbank.

 

Alan Cooper

Alan has a great deal of amount of knowledge regarding the UK and its role in World/ EU affairs. He also has substantial experience in teaching English as a foreign language, is a trained tour guide for London and has taught business topics for a long time. He has taken part in numerous Equal Opportunities and Diversity workshops.

Alan also is the Equal Opportunities and Diversity Manager.

 

Anna-Katharina Schak

Anna has worked in Ireland, Germany, Spain, and England and has academic qualifications from each respective country. She profits from being able to pass on her intercultural experiences (both on educational and professional level) to students. She has experience in teaching at undergraduate level and has a specialised background in linguistics, cultural science and marketing.

She is also in charge of the marketing at the ECBM and Programme Manager for CMS/ DMS courses.

 

Graham Harman-Baker 

Graham is a former City Banker, Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and also a visiting lecturer at London Metropolitan University. He has experience teaching finance, law and marketing subjects to Bachelor level, and also as a member of the DMS team at ECBM.

 

Catherine Heming De-Allie

Catherine combines academic excellence with professional experience in the development and implementation of marketing and training strategies; she has worked closely with Blue Chip employers, Government training agencies and the largest Children's Charity in the UK. In her role as a lecturer at the ECBM, her area of focus is European Marketing Management.

 

Sarah Iles

Sarah is the Deputy Director of the College, responsible for the Professional Development Programmes. Qualified as a modern languages teacher, Sarah has considerable intercultural teaching experience. Sarah has also participated in a variety of EU-funded international projects.

 

Dr Christine Scheck

Christine  is the Deputy Director of the College. She is a marketing specialist, holding a Doctorate from the University of Tübingen (Eberhard-Karls-Univeristät) and leads the CMS, DMS and MBA-programmes at ECBM.

 

Ron Stradling 

Ron is an experienced and qualified trainer, mentor and business adviser and assists our CMS programmes.  A member of the Chartered Management Institute, a Member of the Institute of the Motor Industry and verified by them as a member of their Motor Industry Consultancy Group, Ron is also a Fellow of the Institute of Business Consulting who awarded him the Growth Business Adviser of the Year 2006 Award.

 

Lorraine Wilkins

Lorraine profits from a strong and varied educational and professional background. She holds a Certificate of Further Education, a Certificate in Personnel practice and  Delivery of Learning. She also is a qualified Assessor (D32 & 33) and internal Verifier (V I). Furthermore, Lorraine has professional management experience in the retail industry.

She is also the College Registrar at ECBM.

 

Dr Corinna Coors

 

Richard Bills

Richard Bills has wide ranging experience in advising companies on individual training needs and over 20 years' experience of Business Studies within the HR sector. He has carried out a considerable amount of consultancy work over the years and has an MSc from the London School of Economics.
