Programme

The main aims of the programmes are:

  • to improve participants’ knowledge of British business

  • to improve professional skills

  • to improve communication skills
  • to improve awareness of British culture

 

Assessment:

All tuition is in English and students are encouraged to speak as much English as possible.

 

Students are expected to complete 3 assessments:

  • Written examination
  • Oral presentation
  • Submission of a written report (max. 1000 words)

 

Certificates:

At the end of each programme all participants receive an attendance certificate from the European College of Business and Management.

Students who successfully complete the 3 assessments gain a Certificate from the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce in London.

 

Course Structure:

The course structure is flexible and the modules can be adapted to the training requirements of the participants. The minimum duration is two weeks. Each week consists of 26 teaching hours (45 minutes each).

 

 

 

Attendance:

Dates to be arranged on an individual group basis. Please enquire about availability.

 

Entry Requirements:

Participants are usually trainees with a business background (although this is not a pre-requisite). They should have the appropriate language skills to understand and communicate effectively in English.

 

Teacher Profiles:

Students are able to profit from a variety of teaching methods and styles during their stay in London. Tutors who work on the Professional Development Programmes have a wide range of both academic and professional backgrounds.

They have high profile university degrees and continuously engage in on-going further training and development. In addition all of the tutors have many years of work experience in different fields. For specialist subject areas Guest Speakers are brought in from different professional fields.
