About ECBM

The European College of Business and Management (ECBM) is the officially accredited college of the German-British Chamber of Industry & Commerce (AHK) in London.

The (ECBM) is a registered non-profit making charity specialising in the provision of customised business management courses by working in close partnership with employers and UK universities.
It offers courses in London and Germany.

The college has grown to be a highly respected and successful provider of education and training in an English speaking environment. The college in London welcomes over 200 apprentices and undergraduates from Siemens AG each year on customized short-courses, and are also the partner of Siemens UK (Ltd) in the establishment of their Siemens Commercial Academy in the UK.

It has developed strong links with a number of UK universities which allows to provide the benefits of fast-track and high quality education to its students, many of whom are from Germany or work for German companies.
The courses are taught via blended learning in London and Germany.

The college in London co-operates with UK universities, Chambers of Commerce and UK companies in order to offer internationally recognised and European-wide accredited qualifications.

History

The ECBM was founded in 1988 by the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK London) and a number of international companies.  Robert Bosch, Siemens and Commerzbank are all members of the college advisory board in London.

To date the ECBM has provided more than 10,000 young people from various European countries with business, cultural and language skills to enable them to work effectively in international markets.
Those courses were delivered both in London, Germany and various locations throughout Europe.

The ECBM is the affiliated college of the German-British Chamber of Industry and Commerce (AHK) and specializes in providing high quality programmes at Bachelor-entry and post-graduate (leading to MBA) level.

Former students please note:

The college was founded as the 'British-German School for Vocational Training' and later became the 'European Vocational College' (EVC). On 6 July 2000 the title was changed to the 'European College of Business & Management' (ECBM).
